For access to Alholmens Kraft's and UPM's factory area in Jakobstad,
the following requirements must be met and instructions followed:
• Work safety card
• Personcard with photo, business id and taxnumber (visible)
• Safety training is compulsory for anyone working in Alholmens Kraft's area.
• Safety training is done on the web.
• NOTE! Valid for 3 years!

• UPM entrepreneur introduction*
NOTE! These training courses are valid for 3 years.
• Without valid safety training, access to the factory area is refused.

• Apply for a visitor's permit up to 31.1 of the following calendar year
• Fill in your application well in advance, at least 3 days before your scheduled visit to Alholmens Kraft.
• If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
A chip key which allows you to enter the area, is given to you at the fatory gate.
With the chip key, you also stamp the working hours.
Remeber that use of protective equipment is required in the area.
Driving in the area is prohibited without permission and instructions. When entering the area it is only permissible for the driver to drive in through the gate. Other fellow travelers use the turning gate with their own chip keys.

At Alholmens Kraft and UPM area the use of the following protective equipment is required:
Respiratory protection or fresh air mask shall be used in specific process areas and in dusty conditions as intructed.
Hearing protection should be used in all marked areas, eg process spaces, as well as in spaces / works where the noise level exceeds 85 decibels.
It is forbidden to listen to music with headphones during working hours.
Helmets shall be used in all process areas and in marked areas. The chin strap shall be fastened.
Protective gloves, eg cutting gloves in work with a risk of cuts.
Safety shoes, used both outdoors and indoors in process spaces.
Warning clothing, used both outdoors and indoors in process spaces
Safety goggles (welding mask, full face mask, etc.)
Antistatic shoes and clothes in EX spaces
15km/h in some areas.
Seat belts shall be used in all vehicles in the area.
Smoking is prohibited in the whole area!
0 ‰ limit on the whole area! Import, storage and use of alcohol or other intoxicants on the factory area is prohibited!
• AK follows up contractors working hours via a monitoring unit
• The monitoring unit is located next to the elevator on the first floor.
• To be able to register your working hours, the following is required:
1. Your information has been submitted to AK's resource list (via the website)
Link to the resource list and instructions2. Separate chip key for registration of the working hours is picked up from the office on AK2 floor 2.

• Each person signs out their own key
• After your job is completed in its entirety, the chip key is returned to the mailbox under the monitoring unit in a sealed envelope with your contact details. Alternatively, you bring the chip key to the contact person in the office.
• For a lost chip key, 50 euros will be charged.
The chip key is personal. Everyone gets their own key.
The monitoring unit is located next to the elevator on the first floor at AK2.
Register your working hours by holding the chip key over the reader at the top of the display. Then choose whether you register in (green) or out (red).
